We are Off-Island. We are a coalition of expatriates from Guam (Chamorros and non-Chamorros) utilizing the Internet to facilitate and maintain ties back home.

Off-Island is hosted by Mr. Alex Sian. Mr. Sian is an expatriate and a renowned computer programmer. He is credited with creating VirtualGuam.com. and is a recipient of a legislative resolution, memorializing his accomplishments as a forerunner in establishing web sites in Guam.

Mr. Sian has relocated to Dallas, Texas. And like many of his fellow expatriates, Mr. Sian felt that one economical way of maintaining ties back home is utilizing the Internet. Hence the genesis of Off-Island.

For the time being, Off-Island does updates on a monthly basis. This is not a rigid policy and Off-Island will consider publishing Guam or CNMI related articles if the need arises.
